Our 16th Anniversary

For our 16th anniversary, my parents were kind enough to keep our wild ones overnight at their house. We met up with them in Birmingham, ditched the kiddos and ran! (kidding!) We did take time to give hugs! We shopped for a while, then went to get ready for our big date. We went to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and boy was it GOOD!!! We stayed over in Birmingham, woke up and exercised sans kids :), and shopped a little more the next day before going to my parent's house to give them some respite! All in all, it was a great way to celebrate being in love! And it is truly amazing to be more in love than ever after 16 years of marriage!!!

David's "chopped" salad - A Ruth's Chris original. Julienne iceberg lettuce, baby spinach and radicchio are tossed with red onions, mushrooms, green olives, bacon, eggs, hearts of palm, croutons, bleu cheese, lemon basil dressing and then topped with crispy onions

Then and Now

Today marks 16 years of marriage to each other! Life together has been full of many blessings from the Lord (especially our 2 boys) and MUCH love. Below are two pictures of us... one from our honeymoon and one taken just a few weeks ago. These were taken almost 16 years apart, both in Helen, GA. I'm so thankful to be blessed with such a wonderful, supportive, and loving hubby!

Fun With Friends

Recently, we had a fun day with friends at DAC Kids Pirates Cove. This is the same place we went for Colin's 6th birthday party. Colin and Cam were accompanied by Avery, Addison, and Quinn... friends from our church. They all had a blast!!!!!
